A substitute teacher is expected to fill in for contracted teachers on daily, weekly, or long term basis as needed. They are expected to maintain the classroom dynamics and ensure that lesson plans are accomplished as expected.

As a student teacher for Physics at Redlands High School, I was able to give back to a school and district that has helped shaped me into the person I am today. I had the opportunity to create interactive lessons that allowed students to design mousetrap cars, an egg drop device, and design their own roller coaster, all while supporting the concepts targeted through NGSS standards.

A baseball coach is expected to teach their athletes the complex game of baseball. They are also expected to help mold athletes into becoming competent and respectful individuals on and off the field.
